I am pursuing my Master's Degree in Counseling and Psychology through Saint Mary's University while serving as an intern in the Counseling Center here at Crown College for the duration of the 2022-2023 school year. I have a Bachelor's degree in education from the University of St. Thomas and have taught elementary school, raised three of my own children, worked as a substitute teacher, and owned my own business as a child care provider.
My passions are connecting with people, radical genuineness, spending time outside, and laughing.
As a counseling intern at the Crown Counseling Center, I want to reiterate what Bill says, YOU MATTER AND WE ARE HERE FOR YOU. Counseling should be a place for sharing, listening and learning together. Taking care of our mental health is just as important as tending to our physical health.
